1, The supporting gearbox rack selection ,according to the size of the gearbox output shaft diameter
determine gearbox rack frame type in principle, as long as the interface to match the form and installation
dimensions, the output shaft size of gear reducer can be fluctuate within a certain range of rack models .
2,No pivot gearbox rack. Gearbox rack has the bearing point of non-axis , stirring shaft as the fulcrum,they are both support shaft of the reducer output shaft bearing fulcrum,
it can be used to deliver low power, without or only small axial loads, stirring less agitated reactor.
3,Single-pivot gearbox rack, with one of the following conditions, single point rack is the best choice.
- Agitator vessels set base bearing, as a mechanical pivot.
- Shaft seal body has bearing (including rigid liner), as a fulcrum (force level by shaft seal requirements).
- In the agitator vessels , the axle has a steering pivot bearing, as one fulcrum(that is intermediate
When agitator shaft with the above feature, in the selection of a single pivot gearbox rack, the
couplings between stirring shaft and reducer must be chose from the HL series flexible pin coupling. In practical
application, commonly use rigid coupling replace flexible pin coupling connect stirring shaft and gearbox output
shaft.cancel base bearings or neck bearings.this simplifies the a single pivot gearbox rack application
conditions,but it only suitable for situation that stirring is not strong, small power, light load for bearing. In this case the coupling should be used GT rigid couplings to facilitate micro adjust the axial dimensions,
in principle, it can not use JQ series clamp shell coupling, if use the clamp shell coupling ,
the pivot bearing must be change , use spherical roller bearing with adapter,or remove the ring of
clamp shell coupling ,in order to the axial position of the agitator shaft have adequate room for adjustment.
4,Double-pivot rack , advise not to use no pivot, single-pivot gearbox rack ,
double-pivot rack should be consideration. but in the choice of a double pivot rack with pivot bearing structure
using taper bore spherical roller bearings with adapter sleeve to facilitate the installation and maintenance,
and HL series elastic pin coupling used as combination between the stirring shaft and the gear reducer.
